Application Security Engineer

This role focuses on application security for Veeam's SaaS platform.

• Embed security practices across the SDLC, collaborating with engineering teams from design to deployment.
• Automate and continuously improve the SaaS Application Security program.
• Review architectures, designs, and code, identifying risks and recommending secure patterns.

The Application Security Engineer will enhance the security, reliability, and compliance of cloud-native applications.

• Improve the security posture of cloud-native applications running in Azure and AWS.
• Support threat modeling activities for new features and services.
• Enforce internal security standards and contribute to documentation and guidance.

The role involves working with various technologies:

• Includes Azure DevOps, GitHub, Git, Bitbucket for source control & CI/CD.
• Entra ID, API Management, Storage, Cosmos DB, Functions for Azure services.
• ARM, Terraform, CloudFormation, Serverless Framework for Infrastructure as Code.
