Contract Project Manager

The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a contract Project Manager to join its Communications department. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Program Management, you will collaborate with project managers and various teams on initiatives aligned with the Foundation's annual plan and strategies. You will manage cross-team projects and offer support to writers, designers, marketers, and PR/media specialists. Key responsibilities include assisting with project scopes, defining team roles, scheduling meetings, and identifying challenges. Strong project management skills are essential, including prioritization, organization, planning, and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate is mission-driven, open to new challenges, and committed to diversity in global movements. Experience in an international organization and familiarity with different communication styles are highly valued.
