Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer NPD/NPI Focus

As a Principal Mechanical Engineer for Range Systems, you will lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams responsible for new product development and introduction, from concept through industrialization to final delivery. Create and author mechanical designs, CAD models, and engineering drawings. Perform detailed analysis, simulations, and testing (e.g., FEA, structural, thermal, tolerancing, vibration) to ensure proper product functionality, manufacturability, and design margin. Develop, build, and test proof-of-concept prototype designs to support the development of high-volume production products. Utilize structured problem-solving methodologies to investigate, resolve, and identify opportunities to improve product performance, cost, and reliability. Collaborate regularly with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful product design and production launch. Ensure designs meet regulatory, safety, and quality system requirements and compliance guidelines. Grow and develop as an engineering and technical subject matter expert in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
