Staff Data Engineer

The Role:

• Build and run the platform, owning role-based access, Snowflake administration, and infrastructure as code.
• Extend the medallion architecture, manage ingestion and orchestration, and implement observability for data freshness.

What You'll Do:

• Define the dbt project architecture and development workflow, ensuring safe contributions from all skill levels.
• Partner on data retention and customer data handling, implementing technical controls behind policy.

Who You Are:

• 8+ years in data engineering, with a track record of setting technical direction.
• Deep Snowflake administration experience, including role-based access design and PII controls.
• Proficiency with AI-assisted development, mentor mentality, and strong communication skills.
