Senior Instructional Designer

PHIL is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Instructional Designer to join our Learning & Development team on a 6-month contract-to-hire basis. This role will focus on building, organizing, and continuously improving our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work (SW), and Reference Guides across the organization. Reporting to the Director of Learning & Development, the Senior Instructional Designer will work closely with frontline teams and leadership to ensure documentation is current, accessible, and actionable—enabling operational excellence and consistent onboarding. The Senior Instructional Designer will design, develop, and maintain clear, accurate SOPs, Standard Work, and Reference Guides. They will partner with frontline teams, process owners, and leadership to document evolving workflows, working directly inside operational queues to gain deep process understanding. In addition, they will lead regular audits and updates of documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance and support scalable training asset creation in collaboration with the Learning & Development team.
