Data Science Intern

Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis tasks to identify anomalies and their root cause, and propose validations to programmatically identify such conditions.
• Propose methods to normalize data, implement them, check accuracy, and iterate until sufficient accuracy is achieved.
• Increase the accuracy of derived datasets and data products.

Qualifications:

• PhD or MSc in DataScience, AI/ML, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science preferred; high-performing BSc considered.
• Strong technical skills: Python, SQL, machine learning, statistics, data analysis, and familiarity with distributed data platforms like Snowflake/Databricks.
• Ability to recognize when results look wrong, comfort with messy data, and strong analytical problem-solving and debugging skills.
