Overview:

  • We are designing the Grid of the future.
  • Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning studies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform power system impact studies: Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability.
  • Perform NERC-compliance-related technical analyses such as TPL-001-4 Annual Planning Assessments.
  • Perform full generator interconnection studies including Sub-Synchronous Resonance studies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power systems.
  • Experience performing power system impact studies and using software like PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, TARA.
  • Experience automating/programming in Python.
