Overview:
- We are designing the Grid of the future.
- Develop and conduct computer modeling and analysis for transmission planning studies.
Responsibilities:
- Perform power system impact studies: Steady State, Short Circuit, and Dynamic Stability.
- Perform NERC-compliance-related technical analyses such as TPL-001-4 Annual Planning Assessments.
- Perform full generator interconnection studies including Sub-Synchronous Resonance studies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in power systems.
- Experience performing power system impact studies and using software like PSS/E, PSCAD, Aspen, TARA.
- Experience automating/programming in Python.
