Role Overview:
- Own productization of Alt's pricing and underwriting models from research through production.
- Optimize models to reduce infrastructure costs while improving accuracy.
- Collaborate with Expert Pricers to become a domain expert in the trading card market.
Metrics and Impact:
- Northstar metric: Model-Based Pricing Coverage (% of cards priced by models).
- KPIs include Pricing Accuracy, Freshness, and Underwriting Performance.
- Harden production path with faster, observable APIs and monitoring.
Who You Are:
- Must have 7+ years engineering experience, 5+ years shipping production ML/AI models.
- Deep proficiency in Python, SQL, and custom feature-engineering pipelines.
- Experience with gradient-boosted estimators, LLMs, AWS, and CI/CD pipelines.
