Translational Strategy and Leadership:

  • Accountable for translational development strategy for pipeline assets through IND submission and Phase 1 entry.
  • Support biomarker strategies and indication selection frameworks to guide program decisions.
  • Characterize drug mechanisms of action and resistance to inform clinical hypotheses.

Regulatory and IND Readiness:

  • Lead scientific content and coordination of IND-enabling activities including PK/PD, safety, and biomarker packages.
  • Author and review translational sections of INDs and regulatory documents.
  • Serve as translational science lead in FDA interactions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration and Team Building:

  • Partner with research, clinical, and CMC teams to ensure translational readiness at each program gate.
  • Contribute to clinical protocol development and early data interpretation.
  • Build and scale the translational science function as pipeline grows.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive base salary ($300,000 - $325,000) plus annual performance bonus and meaningful equity.
