Key Responsibilities:
- Act as primary on-the-record spokesperson for the governor's race, handling media inquiries and press events.
- Draft and distribute press materials, including releases, talking points, and online content.
- Develop short- and long-term communications plans to support campaign objectives.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years in political communications, preferably with statewide campaign experience.
- Proven on-the-record experience and ability to pitch and place stories.
- Strong crisis management skills and comfort in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Work Environment:
- Remote position with occasional in-person events in Florida.
- Full-time from January to November 2026, with unpredictable hours as needed.
- Compensation: $6,500-$7,000 monthly, commensurate with experience.
