Finance Director

Makpar is looking for a Finance Director to manage accounting and financial reporting, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer. Responsibilities include maintaining financial records, overseeing the financial model, supporting invoicing and revenue operations, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The role also involves leading financial analysis, revenue forecasting, and profitability initiatives to inform strategic decision-making. The Finance Director will manage daily accounting operations, prepare financial statements, develop cash flow projections, support invoice preparation, and ensure regulatory compliance. The position requires leading, mentoring, and developing the finance and accounting team, promoting accountability and continuous improvement. Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with 10+ years of experience in accounting roles, preferably within federal contracting. Experience with Unanet ERP systems and familiarity with government contracting regulations are essential.
