Medical Director

The Medical Director will lead Product Safety Teams (PST) and support one or more products as the PST lead alone or with other PST leads. This ensures that the safety profile of one or more products is adequately monitored and characterized throughout the product lifecycle (e.g., surveillance, signal detection and evaluation, risk management, etc.). The role involves interpreting regulations related to pharmacovigilance to support all patient safety activities. Responsibilities include understanding pharmacology, chemistry, and non-clinical toxicology to effectively conduct safety surveillance, leading and overseeing safety surveillance and pharmacovigilance activities for products in clinical development and marketed products, and analyzing and interpreting aggregate safety data to communicate to cross-functional teams and regulatory authorities.
