Staff Computational Biologist

About the Role:

• You will lead the analysis and interpretation of cancer's molecular signatures, driving the creation of new applications and enhancing algorithms.
• You will collaborate closely with machine learning scientists and computational biologists to iteratively advance computational models and assays.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a thought-leader, guiding model development and executing rigorous computational analyses on data from best-in-class molecular assays.
• Design novel statistical models for evaluating and characterizing molecular signatures of cancer, and identify research hypotheses for model improvement.
• Partner with molecular biologists and development scientists to refine experiments and turn research models into products.

Qualifications:

• PhD or equivalent in a quantitative field with at least 8 years of post-PhD experience in computational biology for cancer diagnostics.
• Deep expertise in cancer and molecular biology, with proficiency in Python statistical packages and modeling packages.
• Experience with high-throughput data types including Methyl-seq, ATAC-seq, RNA-seq, and cell-free DNA signals.
