Associate Information Security Auditor

About the Role:

• Contribute to a mission-driven cybersecurity team evaluating security controls and ensuring compliance.
• Work closely with cybersecurity professionals, business teams, and external auditors across audit and compliance activities.
• Gain exposure to emerging technologies including AI with emphasis on secure-by-design and privacy-by-design.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define controls and requirements for review; evaluate implementation and effectiveness across security, privacy, and AI areas.
• Participate in audit engagements, serve as liaison, and coordinate evidence collection and quality assurance.
• Monitor security incidents, metrics, and support risk treatment strategies and operational security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field; 1+ year of IT auditing or security compliance experience.
• Familiarity with frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53, and CIS Critical Security Controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, and documentation skills; U.S. citizenship required.
