Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of a NERC Generator Operator (GOP) compliance program.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on NERC compliance, partnering with internal teams, customers, and regulatory bodies.
- Manage Remote Monitoring & Operations Center (RMOC) activity to support battery energy storage and renewable assets.
Requirements:
- 7–12+ years of experience in power system operations, energy generation, or grid operations.
- Direct experience with NERC compliance, specifically GOP and/or TOP standards.
- Experience working in a control room / operations center environment (24/7 operations).
Preferred Experience:
- NERC Certification (e.g., RC, TO, or BA certification).
- Experience with energy storage systems (BESS) or renewable generation.
- Familiarity with CIP requirements and cybersecurity practices.
