Senior Software Engineer, Core Systems

Core Technology:

• The Node produces energy in harsh ocean conditions for years without human maintenance.
• Onboard data aggregation and telemetry systems are critical for reliable autonomy.
• You will work with Core and Shore-side teams to build data pipelines.

Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain network-facing software layers for reliable communication with shore.
• Design egress telemetry pipelines that balance data fidelity and link constraints.
• Collaborate on APIs and schemas for command, control, and telemetry.

Team Collaboration:

• Partner with network engineers for bandwidth allocation strategies.
• Work with security engineers to harden software and review vulnerabilities.
• Participate in design reviews and cross-team collaborations.
