Temporary Reporter, CIO Next List

Seeking experienced business reporters to help source candidates for the CIO list, doing broad research into potential nominees. They will conduct outbound reach out to these individuals as well as to identified constituent groups to uncover more individual names. There may be additional opportunities to write a story associated with the list. The responsibilities include writing sharp, compelling bios/blurbs, contacting listmakers for information including financial data, fact-checking and organizing information, sorting through inbound nominations, and collecting photos from listmakers. The ideal candidate should have strong writing and reporting skills, research experience, attention to detail in fact-checking, comfort contacting sources and getting financial information, and commitment to detail and deadlines with high-level time management and organizational skills.
