About the Role:
- We are seeking a senior field service engineer to build the technical operating model for critical electrical and mechanical infrastructure across our data center portfolio.
- This is a field-oriented role combining deep systems understanding in power and cooling to drive reliability and serviceability.
Responsibilities:
- Lead field support for startup, commissioning, troubleshooting, repair, and reliability improvement across critical data center infrastructure.
- Own technical issues for transformers, switchgear, UPS, chillers, and controls; drive corrective actions through validation.
- Build the field service operating model including staffing, escalation paths, spare parts, and metrics.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with critical electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical infrastructure.
- Deep expertise in one discipline with fluency across electrical, mechanical, and controls.
- Strong safety judgment and ability to travel up to 50%.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with hyperscale data centers and high-density compute infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of BMS, EPMS, SCADA, PLC.
- Relevant electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or controls certifications.
