Staff Rails Engineer

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Staff Rails Engineer with a deep knowledge of Ruby, Rails, and PostgreSQL. To be right for this role, you should be a “manager of one” who excels both individually and on a team. This role involves architecture, backend Ruby programming, and honing the integrity and performance of a PostgreSQL database where Rails is not the only client. And because we’re a fully-remote team, you should be an excellent writer and asynchronous communicator. As a leader on our engineering team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor other engineers, and drive innovation in our product offerings. The ideal candidate will have experience with framework-level development — knowledge of Rails internals. Preferably, you’re skilled in techniques for scaling Rails apps, especially apps that demand high performance and reliability. This position is fully remote (USA only).
