Job Description
This Environmental Health & Safety SME role is onsite in Simi Valley, CA (open to remote). The role supports operations with Italian customers and Ministry of Defense (MoD) sites, focusing on Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance for UAV materials, flight operations, and regulatory documentation. High-Level Responsibilities include ensuring health and safety compliance for materials, flight operations, and hazardous substances, conducting or supporting REACH compliance assessments and documentation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and Italian stakeholders on EH&S deliverable. Regulatory & Technical Requirements include D.Lgs. 81/2008, REACH (Regulation EC No. 1907/2006), RoHS/WEEE (D.Lgs. 151/2005), EU Product Liability Directive 85/374/EEC , Manual for Hazardous Materials Management (“-60”) , and RPAS Safety & Airworthiness Framework (AER(EP)).
