Psychiatric Consultant

About the Role:

• This is a part-time contract position (working approximately 10 hours per week).
• The Psychiatric Consultant supports the collaborative care team.
• The Psychiatric Consultant provides the BHCM support on diagnosing and managing behavioral health conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Case review consultations focus primarily on patients who are new to the caseload.
• Recommend any treatment adjustments through the case review process.
• Advise on treatment for patients who may need more intensive or more specialized mental health care.

Requirements:

• Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner license in New York
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting
• Excellent communication skills
