Key Responsibilities:
- Perform elevator system inspections, assessments, and quality assurance reviews to verify installation quality and safety compliance.
- Support modernization and construction projects from planning through commissioning, reviewing documents and conducting field inspections.
- Coordinate with contractors, stakeholders, and facility staff, preparing technical reports and ensuring project documentation is accurate.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with a minimum of ten years of experience in elevator systems.
- Certified Elevator Inspector (CEI) credential and strong knowledge of ASME A17.1/CSA B44 Safety Code and related federal standards.
- Ability to conduct inspections, identify deficiencies, recommend corrective actions, and support projects within occupied federal and healthcare facilities.
- U.S. Citizenship is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to travel nationwide as needed.
