Health Reporter

Newsweek is seeking a freelance Health Reporter to join our UK team on a casual worker agreement. The ideal candidate will have detailed knowledge of consumer-facing general health and medical topics, medical advancements and treatments, wellness trends, and the broader healthcare industry landscape in the United States. A focus will be placed on topics such as Women and Men’s Health, Heart Health, Respiratory Health, Oncology, Autoimmune Conditions, Alzheimer’s Disease, and Wearables & Digital Health. The Health Reporter will be able to research, source, pitch, and write stories each day. The successful candidate will have experience in a reporting role at a reputable organization. They will have a strong understanding of digital journalism. They will be adept at identifying health stories and topics of interest to a U.S. audience.
