Seasonal Tax Preparer

The Tax Preparer provides dedicated support to the tax preparation team. This position requires flexibility, excellent verbal and written communication skills, and attention to detail. Essential Job Functions for the Tax Preparer include: Assist with preparing federal and multi-state individuals and trust income tax returns. Learn and effectively utilize Lacerte tax preparation software to continually learn, share knowledge with team members, and enhance the quality of service to clients. Prepare and format excel spreadsheets for trust accounting. Review documents and tax returns for accuracy Perform tax technical research assigned by supervisors. Coordinate and communicate with tax advisors, managers, and other team members to perform job functions. Administrative tasks (filing, phone calls, etc.) Other various assigned projects.
