About the Role:

• Senior Backend Engineer for Devoteam Portugal's Nearshore team, working with a UK-based client in tech-led facilities management.
• Focus on building robust, high-scale backend applications using Node.js and ExpressJS.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, evolve, and maintain scalable back-end applications and secure RESTful APIs.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, performance optimization, and clean code.
• Collaborate with front-end teams and participate in agile development workflows.

Qualifications:

• 4/5+ years backend experience with Node.js and ExpressJS mastery.
• Strong expertise in relational databases (SQL) and data modeling.
• Familiarity with Docker and backend architecture patterns.
