About the Role:
- Own the connective tissue of every project: data plumbing and integrations into existing client systems.
- Ideal for a Master’s level student using AI coding tools to move fast with engineering depth for bespoke integration.
- Connect to client databases, APIs, and SaaS systems; extract, clean, transform, and move data for AI features.
Tools & Tech Stack:
- AI-native IDEs: Cursor, Windsurf, GitHub Copilot; agentic CLI coders (Claude Code, Aider).
- Back-end: Node.js and/or Python; databases: PostgreSQL, Supabase, Firebase; Data movement: APIs, ETL, webhooks.
- Integration automation: MCP, Zapier, Make, n8n; Version control: Git/GitHub, Notion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Connect to client systems and get data reliably out of and into them.
- Extract, clean, transform, and move data structured for AI features.
- Build and maintain data pipelines feeding RAG and agent systems with current, correct data.
