About the Team:
- The Scene Generation team builds sensor simulation based on Neural Rendering and generative models for Torc's data-driven simulator.
- High-quality data closes the domain data gap, solving a key challenge for safe autonomous driving.
- The team works on state-of-the-art approaches for Neural Rendering and data generation for camera, LiDAR, and Radar sensor data.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as the team's technical lead, owning key design decisions and driving consensus across engineers and stakeholders.
- Set and own the technical vision and roadmap for Neural Rendering and generative modeling work.
- Implement and guide the team in applying the latest research advances into production quality sensor simulation.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
- Bachelor's degree in CS, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 10+ years experience (or Master's plus 7+ years, or PhD plus 5+ years).
- Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Proven expertise in Neural Rendering (NeRFs, 3D Gaussian Splatting) and generative models (Diffusion Models, Flow Matching).
