About the Team:

  • The Scene Generation team builds sensor simulation based on Neural Rendering and generative models for Torc's data-driven simulator.
  • High-quality data closes the domain data gap, solving a key challenge for safe autonomous driving.
  • The team works on state-of-the-art approaches for Neural Rendering and data generation for camera, LiDAR, and Radar sensor data.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the team's technical lead, owning key design decisions and driving consensus across engineers and stakeholders.
  • Set and own the technical vision and roadmap for Neural Rendering and generative modeling work.
  • Implement and guide the team in applying the latest research advances into production quality sensor simulation.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Robotics, Electrical Engineering or related field plus 10+ years experience (or Master's plus 7+ years, or PhD plus 5+ years).
  • Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
  • Proven expertise in Neural Rendering (NeRFs, 3D Gaussian Splatting) and generative models (Diffusion Models, Flow Matching).
