Responsibilities:
- Examining residential and commercial building plans to ensure compliance with adopted electrical codes.
- Attending meetings with municipal officials, residents, engineers, architects, and design professionals.
- Ensuring plan reviews are completed and documentation accurately maintained.
Qualifications:
- Five years of experience in electrical engineering or plan review services within a municipal setting.
- Licensed professional engineer preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must possess working knowledge of local building code regulations and procedures.
- Must be able to positively interact with team members, the general public, contractors, and governmental entities.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office Suite.
