Senior Mortgage Underwriter

Role Overview:

• Apply mortgage underwriting expertise to test and improve digital lending products.
• Work extensively with Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA guidelines.
• Collaborate with Product and Sales teams in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review borrower documentation and analyze income, assets, credit, collateral.
• Validate automated underwriting rules and document test cases.
• Identify product gaps and provide recommendations.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of mortgage underwriting experience with FHA/VA.
• Strong knowledge of agency guidelines.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
