Project Controls Specialist

The Project Controls Specialist is responsible for providing cost or schedule project controls support on large design-only projects or full EPC+C (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) projects. This role ensures accurate planning, monitoring, forecasting, and reporting to support successful project delivery. A critical requirement of the position is advanced proficiency in Power BI, including the ability to develop and maintain project dashboards that provide real-time insights into project performance. The specialist may focus on either cost control or scheduling but must also have basic knowledge of the other discipline to support integrated project controls. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards, supporting the establishment of project controls systems, monitoring project performance, collaborating with various teams, supporting risk management, and ensuring compliance with corporate standards. Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of project controls experience on large capital projects and advanced proficiency in Power BI and Primavera P6.
