Senior Machine Learning Engineering Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and grow the team: Guide career development, manage conflicts, and nurture a positive work environment. Develop career plans, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative environment across a geographically distributed organization.
• Run a portfolio of experiments: Partner with tech leads, pressure-test ideas, and make calls on which hypotheses get compute and headcount. Manage trade-offs between committed improvement targets and research bets.
• Own delivery on a cadence: Ensure independent experimental workstreams converge into release candidates, get evaluated end to end, and ship, including making hard calls to leave workstreams out.

Requirements:

• Roughly 5+ years in machine learning, data science, or ML-adjacent software engineering, including at least 3 years of people management.
• Genuine depth in at least one of engineering and applied statistics, with real working competence in the other.
• Demonstrated ability to lead work under real uncertainty, set direction, and communicate changes without eroding team confidence.
