Position Overview:
- This is a senior leadership role accountable for the academic and postsecondary performance of KIPP regions across the network. The Chief, Regional Impact co-owns outcomes and ensures systems are in place for regional excellence.
- The position manages four Regional Superintendents and works closely with the Chief Schools Officer to operationalize the vision for regional impact and leader development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement systems to monitor results, intervene on performance gaps, and identify cross-regional patterns to scale effective practices.
- Partner with Regional Superintendents to support and hold regional Executive Directors accountable for driving strong academic and non-academic outcomes.
- Oversee Executive Director pipeline development, performance management, and provide updates to regional board chairs on progress and talent decisions.
Qualifications and Conditions:
- Requires 15+ years of experience, including experience as a CEO or Executive Director of a school system, and a Bachelor’s degree.
- The role involves extensive travel (~40%) and offers flexibility to work remotely or from KIPP Foundation offices in NYC or Chicago.
