Motion Capture Talent Specialist (CONTRACT)

The Motion Capture Talent Specialist is responsible for defining, tracking, preparing for, and enabling on time delivery of content for each motion capture shoot. They create, modify, and maintain motion capture schedules within the cinematics team and act as a liaison with external vendors, outsourcing partners, motion capture specialists and talent. Responsibilities include coordinating multiple disciplines involved in the creation and delivery of cinematic assets. The specialist aligns external vendors on talent availability, coordinates with stage holds and production needs. They coordinate multiple disciplines (Animation, Character TD, etc.) involved in the creation and delivery of cinematic assets, define content for each motion capture shoot, and secure talent holds and bookings, including stunt actors. They communicate shoot dates to all attendees and crew, including remote workers and are responsible for the execution of all talent contracts and rate confirmations. The specialist ensures all content is available and prepared for each shoot day, including but not limited to: Latest character rigs, rigged props, set geometry, scripts, video reference, shot list. They communicate data turnaround dates, missing data, and processing priority to external vendors and track, manage, and communicates related budget status to internal stakeholders. This role liaises between outsource vendors and talent for scan sessions, table reads, etc. and consistently achieves and demonstrates Insomniac’s cultural leadership values.
