Fisheries Biologist

The Fisheries Biologist will support the NOAA NMFS Oregon-Washington Coastal Office (OWCO). The position focuses on ESA and MSA consultations, environmental impact assessments, and regulatory document preparation supporting species recovery and habitat protection in the Pacific Northwest. Duties include analyzing scientific and technical data to assess project impacts on ESA-listed species and habitats. The Biologist will draft Biological Opinions, Letters of Concurrence, MSA responses, and NEPA documentation. Review Biological Assessments and advise action agencies with technical assistance. Coordinate with engineers and evaluate habitat restoration proposals. Participate in programmatic enrollment, documentation management, and stakeholder coordination.
