Cost Engineer – Data Center Construction

Turner & Townsend are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Engineer to join our data center team. This role involves managing and analyzing costs for data center construction projects, ensuring financial efficiency and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining detailed project budgets, including labor, materials, equipment, and services. The Cost Engineer will perform comprehensive cost analysis and forecasting to ensure projects stay within budget. Identify potential financial risks and develop mitigation strategies and prepare and present detailed cost reports and progress updates to project managers and stakeholders. This role requires collaboration with project teams, procurement, and contract management to ensure cost control and planning advice; identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements; engage and manage third-party quantity surveyors; update and maintain a repository for historical cost data; and define and track cost performance metrics.
