Senior Android (Kotlin) Engineer — Digital Signage / Embedded Media Platform (Contract)

Job Overview:

• Long-term contract (20–40 hrs/week) building a digital signage platform for Android, webOS, and Tizen.
• Focus on device-level engineering, not mobile app development – embedded media systems.

Requirements:

• Strong Android development in Kotlin with experience building for digital signage, smart TV, or kiosks.
• Comfort with async, multithreading, race conditions, and memory debugging.
• Nice-to-have: signageos.io, Amlogic/Rockchip/Qualcomm SoC, webOS/Tizen, MDM fleet management.

Compensation:

• $100/hour, 1099 contract, fully remote within the US.
• Reports directly to the Chief Architect.
