Senior Accountant

Responsibilities:

• Own assigned close areas, including pre-close reviews, journal entries, accruals, and supporting documentation
• Prepare and review bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations
• Identify, book, and reverse monthly accruals with clear backup

Systems, processes, and controls:

• Work in NetSuite daily, and support QuickBooks Premier Desktop activity as needed during transition and reporting
• Help design and implement scalable accounting processes and internal controls
• Document and maintain accounting SOPs so the team can execute consistently

Audit, compliance, and stakeholders:

• Support annual external audit and tax preparation, including PBC schedules and requests
• Contribute to investor and board reporting materials as needed
• Maintain a high bar for confidentiality, accuracy, and compliance in a defense-focused environment
