Responsibilities:
- Develops and provides students with an approved syllabus, organizing and updating all course materials regularly.
- Uses online technologies for course preparation, including Websites, e-mail, and online discussions.
- Models effective communications and sets clear expectations with published objectives and exam dates.
Qualifications:
- MSN and DNP (or PhD in nursing) required, along with an active unencumbered RN and APRN nursing license in Pennsylvania.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience, preferably at graduate level, with online teaching experience highly preferred.
- Must be board certified by ANCC or AACN as ACNP or AGACNP, with subject matter expertise.
Additional Information:
- This is a part-time, online visiting professor position on a course-by-course basis.
- Expected compensation is between $715 to $1,950 per earned credit hour.
- The position requires expertise in a diverse, non-traditional environment with excellent communication skills.
