Job Description
Seeking motivated candidates to perform responsible electrical engineering work within the Division of Traffic Operations, Signals, and Street Lighting. Will engage in research, investigations, studies, or examinations related to the engineering functions or activities of the department or agency. Prepares designs and plans using AutoCAD, and evaluate contract documents and specifications, working drawings, and other technical specifications and estimates of quantities. The successful candidates will conduct field visits and complete lighting survey projects and any improvement requests to ensure city standards, IESNA, and national electrical codes are met. Candidates will coordinate with design consultants and review submitted plans for the development/modification of new and/or existing signalized intersections and street lighting work. Will also coordinate electrical service, relocation, and other requests for utilities.
