Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the territory KOL/HCP engagement plan, including identification, mapping, and prioritization of thought leaders.
- Deliver scientific presentations and engage in scientific exchange on Deramiocel clinical data and DMD cardiomyopathy.
- Support advisory boards, scientific symposia, and KOL-led research initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced clinical degree (MD, PharmD, PhD, DO, or equivalent).
- 5-10 years of MSL experience in biotech/pharma, preferably in rare disease or cell/gene therapy.
- Strong working knowledge of FDA, OIG, PhRMA Code, and ACCME compliance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Existing relationships across the DMD treatment center network or neuromuscular community.
- Prior launch experience in rare disease, cell/gene therapy, or pediatric cardiology.
Working Conditions:
- Field-based remote position with 60-75% domestic travel for KOL engagement and congresses.
- Periodic presence at Capricor's San Diego HQ as required.
