Job Description

As a Biomedical Technician I, you will install, troubleshoot, repair, and verify the performance of complex biomedical systems with minimal supervision. Youโ€™ll also serve as a technical advisor to clinical and administrative staff on safe equipment usage and help evaluate new device acquisitions. You will perform performance assurance (PA) inspections, scheduled maintenance, electrical safety inspections (ESI), and operation verification procedures (OVP) on highly complex and intricate biomedical equipment and systems. Responsibilities include repairing, installing, and calibrating highly complex and intricate biomedical equipment and systems, informing supervisors of the status of repairs, scheduled inspections, unusual equipment situations, and any customer concerns. You will also complete inventory inspections, maintain customer relationships, and ensure regulatory compliance.
