Job Description
Responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective. Designing and implementing tests, debugging and defining corrective actions. Reviewing system requirements and tracking quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts). Ensuring no blocker regression defects are leaked during the UAT and Production phases. Ensuring core functionalities are not broken because of the enhancements/changes/merged tickets implemented in the product. Ensuring no test case/ER is failed because of understanding gaps from BRD during every sprint. Investigating product quality to make improvements to achieve better customer satisfaction. Suggesting solutions to identified product problems. Collaborating with Product Development team to ensure consistent project execution. Identifying quality assurance process bottleneck and suggesting actions for improvement. Overseeing continuous improvement projects. Collecting quality data and presenting it to the leads/managers for consumption. Preparing and presenting reports and metrics to Senior Management. Ensuring 100% adherence to Scrum Activities. Log the defects found during Sprint/Regression with proper data and logs in JIRA.
