Job Description
The Graduate Research Associate (GRA) is a vital member of the Nursing Research Team, working under the guidance of the Nurse Scientist. This role offers an apprenticeship experience complemented by financial support, enhancing formal graduate instruction with practical research activities. The GRA will apply and master research concepts, conduct experiments, organize and analyze data, write comprehensive reports, and present research findings effectively. Collaborating with others in preparing publications is also a key aspect of the role.
Key responsibilities include identifying and assessing candidates for protocol participation, leading discussions about potential subject enrollment, collecting clinical data, and entering data into the database. Ensuring all research activities comply with established protocols and federal regulations is paramount. Services are delivered in close collaboration with other research and nursing care team members.
This position requires an OSU student enrolled in a graduate program with excellent oral and written communication skills.
