Responsibilities:
- Handle L2 and L3 support cases, troubleshoot Kubernetes backup and restore issues, and investigate failures across cloud-native and hybrid environments.
- Review logs from CloudCasa components and customer clusters, reproduce issues in staging, and escalate verified defects to the engineering team.
- Assist customers with SaaS and self-hosted deployments, support integrations with major Kubernetes platforms, and help customers follow backup best practices.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate is a practical Kubernetes troubleshooter with solid cloud experience, strong support discipline, and the ability to work directly with customers.
- They must be comfortable reading technical logs, isolating product versus environment issues, and translating complex findings into clear next steps.
- This role requires independent investigation across Kubernetes, cloud, and storage domains, and collaboration with engineering for deeper product analysis.
Qualifications:
- Required hands-on experience includes Kubernetes operations, cloud platforms like AWS/Azure/GCP, Linux administration, CI/CD tools, and scripting.
- Candidate should have L2/3 customer-facing support experience, with skills in log analysis, root cause documentation, and clear written communication.
- Beneficial experience includes backup products like Velero, Kubernetes storage, Helm charts, object storage, stateful application backup, and monitoring tools.
