Job Description
Design and implement Azure cloud architectures that ensure scalability, availability, and performance. Develop and maintain contingency and disaster recovery strategies. Evaluate and recommend Azure architectural patterns using Terraform, BICEP, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.
Implement and maintain Azure tenant security: baselines, access controls, patching, and vulnerability management. Ensure compliance with ISO, PCI, GDPR, and FTC Safeguard regulations.
Partner with executives and stakeholders to communicate benefits, risks, and costs of cloud solutions. Provide expert technical guidance on Azure services, cloud technologies, and industry trends. Mentor junior engineers and guide Service Delivery teams through documentation and training.
Design and implement automation/orchestration solutions to streamline operations. Provide expert-level troubleshooting for Azure services. Maintain uptime through proactive maintenance and structured change management.
Regularly assess existing cloud architectures for optimization, cost savings, and performance. Stay up to date with emerging Azure features and best practices. Lead evaluations of new technologies and make recommendations for improvement. Maintain accurate Azure asset inventories and system baselines.
Define corporate Azure standards and track KPIs (performance, availability, cost). Keep documentation current in a central repository. Participate in strategic planning, roadmap creation, and budgeting for cloud services. Support after-hours operations as part of an on-call rotation. Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
