Senior Transmission Line Engineer 1

Key Responsibilities:

• Design transmission lines in the 69kV to 500kV range, including cost analyses, development of design criteria, routing, and siting.
• Perform conductor selection studies, shielding, grounding, and induction studies.
• Direct small project teams, work with vendors and clients to specify components, and mentor less experienced staff.

Qualifications:

• BS degree from an ABET-accredited engineering program and proficiency with PLS-CADD software.
• 5+ years of experience in transmission line design including code requirements, cost estimates, and construction documents.
• Knowledge of NESC, IEC, IEEE, and other design standards; PE license preferred.
