Subject Matter Expert - Private Equity

About the Role:

• Aptura is looking for subject matter experts from private equity to create realistic Excel tasks that test AI performance on associate-level modelling work.
• You will turn your own frustrations with AI mistakes into tasks with clear, correct answers and precise grading criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Write tasks drawn from real PE work: extending existing models, fixing broken ones, and building from a brief.
• Solve each task yourself and document the correct approach.
• Write yes-or-no criteria precise enough for consistent grading.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years in private equity or growth equity, with sector or generalist deal coverage.
• Deep Excel skills: LBOs, debt schedules, returns sensitivities, goal seek, and circular references.
• Strong written English and attention to detail.

Additional Information:

• Fully remote, independent contractor engagement with weekly task-based payments.
• Project runs approximately 4–6 weeks with immediate start, and may be extended based on performance.
