Job Description

The Group Facilitator provides therapeutic treatment, with an emphasis on evidence-based drug and alcohol treatment methods. You will do this through facilitating scheduled groups and documenting the sessions in our EMR. While in this position, you shall maintain all applicable licenses and certification requirements. The role is for our Discovery Mood & Anxiety, mental health intensive outpatient program (IOP). The role is 100% remote work. As a group facilitator you will be leading 3-4 psychoeducational groups per day based off of our curriculum library. An essential aspect of virtual IOP is patient engagement and modifying the group to meet the needs of the clients in the group. We create a safe space for patients struggling with managing their mental health symptoms to learn new skills. We offer learning development via pathways training of CBT, DBT, or ACT training. After your first 90 days, you are eligible to complete a training which will include a dollar increase in hourly pay once completed.
