In this position, you will work closely with our Director of Conceptual Design to develop complex, state-of-the-art payload systems for space and airborne applications. You will lead the development of space architecture concepts, sub-system design, payload design, requirements development, analysis and decomposition, high-level software and hardware system architecture design, concept of operations (CONOPS) development, and risk assessment. The successful candidate will communicate effectively with team members and internal stakeholders, as well as participate in authoring content.

As the Head of Perception at Vannevar Labs, you will lead a team of signal processing and machine learning engineers in building an intelligent signal detection and characterization platform. You will own R&D of novel DSP and machine learning approaches, collaborate with cross disciplinary engineering teams, and act as the people lead for your team while contributing technically.
