ProPublica is seeking a graphics editor to create information graphics for stories with real-world impact, where visual storytelling is integral to the mission. The ideal candidate will have experience designing and developing data visualizations, web development skills (HTML/CSS and Javascript), and an understanding of good design principles.

The Graphic Designer is responsible the entire process of defining requirements, visualizing and creating graphics including illustrations, logos, layouts and photos. You’ll be the one to shape the visual aspects of websites, creative flair and a strong ability to translate requirements into design and collaborate with other designers to create effective and eye-catching images.
